Tom Nair

Tom Nair advises a wide range of clients on EU and UK competition law matters, including merger control, and in relation to foreign direct investment controls, including approvals under the UK National Security and Investment Act. Tom also has experience in advising clients involved in competition investigations. 

Tom joined Mayer Brown in 2024 as a trainee and completed rotations in the firm’s Corporate & Securities, Antitrust & Competition and Tax practices, in addition to completing a six-month secondment at the legal team of a global private equity house. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Tom spent eighteen months as a paralegal in the competition team of another prominent international law firm.
