Overview
Emily Nash is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Mayer Brown's Chicago and New York offices. Emily represents industry-leading global consumer brands as well as mobile commerce, telecommunications, media, and pharmaceutical companies in trademark, trade dress, copyright, patent, and other intellectual property matters. Notable clients have included Nestlé, Google, Spotify, AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Goya Foods.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Emily was Law Clerk to the Hon. William J. Bauer, US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before attending law school, Emily was an associate in the Business Affairs department of a prominent literary agency located in New York City and Contracts Manager within the Legal Department of a global trade book publishing company.
Emily has been a guest lecturer in Intellectual Property Drafting at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and has served as a judge in its renowned BMI Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition.
