Previously, he served as co-chair of a major international law firm's Federal Law and Policy practice and for many years on that firm’s Policy Committee, building and managing the firm’s practice and counseling Fortune 100 corporations, domestic and foreign governments and other clients.
Additionally, John served, by appointment of President Clinton, as Chair of the Democratic National Committee’s Democratic Business Council, chaired the Mid-Atlantic Finance Committee for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, and served on the National Finance Committee for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.
