Overview

Robyn Llewellyn is a senior associate in the Banking & Finance practice of the London office. His practice comprises structured finance transactions for investment banks and corporates, and focuses in particular on capital markets, securitisations, structured products and bespoke structured lending transactions. Recent experience includes private warehouse lines for consumer lenders and supply chain financiers and public securitisations of real estate and consumer loans. 

Robyn also advises on complex OTC credit, equity, FX and commodity derivatives. He regularly advises on the key issues arising from prevailing regulations such as the UK Securitisation Regulation, EU Securitisation Regulation and EMIR. Recently Robyn has focused on digital asset/crypto derivatives, helping several market participants develop templates for their digital asset trading. Robyn edits Mayer Brown’s derivatives blog

Robyn joined Mayer Brown in 2019 having previously trained and worked at a magic circle law firm. Robyn has also worked in structuring roles at an investment bank and investment fund. Robyn is a very keen cyclist and is racing most weekend in criteriums or off-road events.
