His transactional work includes assisting in both buy-side and sell-side legal due diligence, attending to commercial negotiations, managing transaction closings and the preparation and review of various corporate and commercial agreements including asset and share sale and purchase agreements, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements, novations and other ancillary transaction documents.

Teck Jin regularly assists clients in both a coordinating lead counsel role and also local counsel in multi-jurisdictional transactions involving France, Germany, Japan, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, amongst others.

• Acted for a Hong Kong subsidiary of a Chinese electronics company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in an acquisition of a local electronics equipment manufacturer.
• Acted for local stakeholders in a dual tranche divestment of a regional distributor of life science equipment valued in excess of S$74 million to a large foreign multinational healthcare company.
• Acted as Singapore legal advisor to conduct legal due diligence in connection with the initial public offering of a solid liquid filtration solutions provider on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
• Acted for a freight and logistics services provider headquartered in Bangkok and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, in its acquisition of a Singapore logistics provider, including to provide full legal due diligence coverage and negotiation of the key transaction documentation in relation to the acquisition.
• Acted for local stakeholder in the divestment of a global oil and gas non-destructive testing and inspection company to a private-equity firm based in the UK with a transaction value of approximately S$35 million.
• Acted as Singapore legal advisor to a major retail and commercial bank in the UK for the provision of credit facilities in excess of £30 million in an international corporate financing transaction involving a global flexible legal service provider.
