Overview
Admitted to the Paris Bar, Mathieu Lebourgeois is an associate in the Banking & Finance practice of the Paris office.
He provides advice and legal services to banks, arrangers, corporates, investment funds and guarantors on a variety of financing-related matters. His practice covers domestic and cross-border banking and finance transactions, including complex receivable finance structures, structured finance (securitization), leveraged/acquisition finance, corporate lending and real estate finance.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Mathieu practiced in the Paris office of a large international law firm and in a major French law firm.
In addition to his native French, Mathieu is fluent in English.

- Advised RCI Banque on a €719 million securitisation backed by German auto loans originated by its German Branch.
- Advised DIAC SA, the financial subsidiary of certain brands of the Alliance Renault Nissan Mitsubishi, on the securitisation of auto loans originated by DIAC for a total amount of €747.1 million.
