Alison S. T. Lam

Alison Lam is a lawyer in the firm's global Legal Risk Management team, advising internal clients on professional indemnity related matters, risk issues, professional conduct as well as loss prevention matters generally.

Alison is a solicitor qualified in Hong Kong and in England and Wales of over 19 years' PQE. She is a litigator by background with a focus on commercial dispute resolution when she was in private practice. Alison practised at two international law firms in Hong Kong prior to becoming an in-house lawyer, and has extensive experience in dispute resolution representing multinational corporate clients. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Alison was a regional in-house legal counsel with a professional services firm, advising on contentious and regulatory matters, as well as ethics, employment, compliance, risk management and data privacy issues across the Asia Pacific region.
