Experience

Some recent examples of Beatriz’s representations and experience include the following (calendar year of 2022 – 2023):

  • Advised on the first national issuance by the largest private company in the sanitation sector within the framework of its "Sustainable Transactions Framework." This involved supporting the certification of the debentures of its subsidiary as "sustainable" due to the environmental and social benefits generated by the investment project. Notably, it marked inaugural issuance by the company classified as such.
  • Advised on the structuring of BNDES’ first US dollar-indexed loan for a renewable energy project, totalling USD 210,593,610.74, which involved the issuance of bank guarantee letters. The complexity of this undertaking was further compounded by the requirement of offshore guarantees governed by New York laws to support both BNDES’ financing and bank guarantee letter.
