Overview
Beatriz Lavigne is an associate in the Banking & Finance practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the São Paulo office. Beatriz focuses her activities on financing infrastructure projects, representing multilateral agencies, commercial banks, institutional creditors and their respective sponsors. Bachelor of Laws at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC SP), she has also experience in corporate and capital market law, especially in cases of capital and debt offerings by Brazilian private issuers (in the Brazil and abroad). Beatriz is also involved in researching and implementing financial practices and transactions related to sustainable development, green finance, corporate social/environmental responsibility, law and economy dynamics and the carbon market. She is a member of the Green Finance Group (Green Bonds and Carbon Market subpratices), as well as the Impact Group (Blend Finance subpratices), both from LAB (Financial Innovation Laboratory of the Brazilian Securities Commission - CVM).
Previously, Beatriz worked as an intern in the Capital Markets practice at the firm, as well as an associate in the corporate practice at another prominent law firm.
