Shireen J. Karcutskie

Shireen J. Karcutskie is an associate in Mayer Brown's Washington DC office and a member of the Employment & Benefits group. She represents large and midsized corporate clients across all industries in a wide range of immigration matters, including nonimmigrant and immigrant corporate visa petitions, Employment Eligibility Verification, and related federal I-9 compliance matters. Shireen provides employers guidance on the implementation of company-specific immigration policies, and frequently assists with addressing the immigration-related concerns of companies undergoing corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. She has significant experience working with individuals across various fields to secure permanent residence on the basis of extraordinary ability, outstanding professor/researcher, and multinational manager, as well as O-1 extraordinary ability nonimmigrant visas for similarly situated individuals.

Shireen received her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Shireen is admitted to practice in Florida and Pennsylvania.
