Overview
Sam Hartman is an associate in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and a member of the Technology & IP Transactions practice. Sam advises on a range of complex commercial transactions, including those involving IT outsourcing, digital platform and other hosted service agreements, business process outsourcing, contract manufacturing, technology licensing, SaaS, and artificial intelligence issues. He has represented companies in many different industries, including financial services, chemicals, industrials, cosmetics, energy, insurance, food and beverage, and information technology.
As part of his pro bono practice, Sam serves on the Junior Board of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and is a member of the firm’s booster team assisting with the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Investing in Justice Campaign.
