Overview

Diane Huff is a transactional lawyer whose practice focuses particularly on real estate matters. Diane has extensive experience in a wide range of real estate transactions, including property acquisitions and dispositions, financing, commercial leasing, build-to-suit leasing, ground leasing, property development, including the development of vertically subdivided mixed-use projects and property management work. She has substantial experience in representing real estate investors, lenders, developers, corporate clients and non-profit organizations (including educational institutions and healthcare organizations) in connection with real estate transactions involving a broad variety of property uses including office, industrial, healthcare, educational, retail, shopping center, hotel and mixed-use projects. 

Diane has done considerable work representing landlords and tenants in commercial lease, sublease and ground lease transactions, including general office, medical office, industrial, retail, educational and restaurant use, with a particular emphasis on general office and medical office leasing. Diane has represented numerous clients in connection with the leasing of office space of all sizes including leases of major new company headquarters locations.  Diane has also represented major healthcare providers, as landlords and as tenants, in medical office leasing, subleasing and timeshare lease transactions. She has advised clients on healthcare regulatory compliance matters including the structuring of transactions so that they comply with regulations applicable to healthcare providers such as the Stark and Anti-Kickback regulations. She has worked closely with clients’ property managers, construction consultants, brokers, and real estate consultants on real estate matters related to ongoing property operations and management.
