Overview

Ellen Hepworth advises on a range of technology, data protection and intellectual property matters. Her experience includes assisting clients with software development, purchase and licensing agreements, licensing of other intellectual property, outsourcing transactions, GDPR compliance projects, and negotiating data protection provisions in commercial agreements.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown as a trainee in 2019, Ellen worked in-house at a challenger bank, advising on a variety of data protection matters including data protection provisions in supplier agreements, internal policies and customer requests. During her training contract spent six months on a secondment, on a part time basis, with a ride hailing software company.
