Overview
Jared Goldberger is a Tax Transactions & Consulting partner in Mayer Brown's New York office. His practice is focused on providing U.S. tax advice relating to information reporting and withholding to financial institutions. Specifically, Jared advises U.S. and non-U.S. banks, trust companies, asset managers and other financial institutions relating to FATCA, the qualified intermediary (QI) regime, and Chapters 3 and 61 of the Internal Revenue Code. Jared also advises clients on the tax aspects of a wide variety of transactions, including capital markets and financing transactions. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Jared practiced for another prominent international law firm.
