Overview

Rachel represents clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. She works on all phases of litigation, including by drafting pleadings, memoranda to clients, letters, motions, and mediation statements. She is involved in all aspects of discovery—assisting with fact investigation, creating coding panels and search protocols, analyzing documents both offensively and defensively, conducting privilege reviews, and preparing for and assisting with depositions. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on criminal matters and helping individuals obtain asylum. Recently, Rachel helped secure asylum at the interview stage for a pro-bono client whose application had been pending for the past ten years.
