Overview
Katherine Fox is counsel in the Employment & Benefits' practice of the London office. She joined Mayer Brown in 2011. Katherine advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters and acts for clients across a variety of sectors including insurance, financial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and leisure.
Katherine’s advisory experience includes advice regarding senior exits and settlement agreements, redundancies, disciplinary and grievance issues and TUPE. She also has experience advising on global employment issues and matters concerning executives' terms and remuneration. She drafts employment documentation including employment and consultancy agreements, policies and handbooks. She is experienced in project managing global international projects across multi-jurisdictions on issues such as business transfers, data processing and changes to terms and conditions. In this context, Katherine works closely with Mayer Brown colleagues overseas and our network of global firms. Katherine also advises on corporate and transactional matters and has worked on numerous global outsourcing deals.
Katherine’s contentious experience includes acting for employers in the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the High Court and the County Court. She has worked on claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract issues.
