Overview

Felipe Derbli is counsel in the Rio de Janeiro office of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown, and is a member of the Public Law practice. He has been engaged in the Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Regulation fields for 20 years. Felipe has assisted companies and governmental institutions in all kinds of dispute resolution involving Public law matters. Before joining Tauil & Chequer Advogados, he was a partner at a boutique law firm, from 2018 to 2020, and worked in legal advisory and strategic litigation. He was the Chief Legal Officer at the Social Security Fund of the State of Rio de Janeiro – RIOPREVIDÊNCIA (2007-2010) and clerked for Justice Luiz Fux at the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (Supremo Tribunal Federal - STF), from 2011 to 2012. Felipe has also served as state attorney at the Rio de Janeiro State Attorney-General’s Office since 2000.
