Overview

Treasa Duffy is a senior associate in the Banking & Finance Practice of the London office.

Treasa has a variety of banking & finance experience, particularly in the areas of Capital Markets, Corporate Trust and Agency and Trade Finance. Her experience includes advising issuers and dealers on the establishment, update and maintenance of debt issuance programmes, as well as standalone offerings of retail and wholesale medium term notes, commercial paper and covered bonds, and providing ongoing advice on securities laws, corporate governance and stock exchange requirements. Treasa has advised corporate trust houses in their various roles such as note trustee, security trustee and paying agent on a range of issues and products, including securitisations and other forms of asset-backed transactions. She also has experience advising on Brexit-related matters and is Mayer Brown's representative for ICMA Future Leaders.

Treasa recently completed a secondment to Deutsche Bank's Trade Finance legal team, providing legal advice on a range of trade finance products to multiple business teams across Deutsche Bank, including Global Transaction Banking, Structured Commodity Trade Finance, Structured Trade and Export Finance, Trade Finance Operations, Trade Distributions and Supply Chain Finance.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2013, Treasa worked in the London office of another large international law firm.
