Overview

Anna Durham is an associate in Mayer Brown's Houston office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Anna’s practice focuses on litigation in state and federal courts, mediation, and domestic and international arbitration. She regularly represents clients in both commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters in the oil, energy, and construction sectors, among others. In September 2022, Anna played a key role in an associate-led trial in which the firm sought attorney's fees from the City of Houston in connection with Public Information Act requests. Anna and her colleagues won both the bench and jury trial, securing a $1.2 million jury verdict on behalf of Mayer Brown.

In addition, Anna’s practice includes a considerable commitment to pro bono matters, including the representation of children and at-risk women in federal immigration actions. Anna is also a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee.

Anna received her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and her BA in English from Rice University. During law school, Anna served as the vice president of the Domestic Violence Project and as Articles Editor and Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law. She additionally participated in a program in International and Comparative Business Law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany.
