Overview
Tamara Cukiert is a senior associate in the Projects & Infrastructure practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in Association with Mayer Brown in the São Paulo Office. She focuses her practice on advising clients in public infrastructure projects, including concessions and public-private partnerships (PPPs) in regulated sectors. Her expertise covers advice throughout public consultations, bidding procedures, and contracts’ performance, as well as in structuring public-private partnerships, concessions, and public-private joint ventures.
Experience
- Advised AEGEA in the bidding process for SANEPAR’s sanitation PPP to serve 36 municipalities in the Central-Eastern microregion of Paraná, including the public consultation and bidding phases.
- Advised the consortium formed by Kinea and Engeform in the bidding process for the PPP for construction, maintenance, conservation, management, and operation of non-pedagogical services for 17 new schools in the State of São Paulo, including the bidding phase and the incorporation of the special purpose entity (SPE).
- Structured public guarantee mechanisms in PPP contracts for photovoltaic solar power generation for public buildings.
