Sophia Barbosa

Sophia Barbosa is an associate in the Brasilia office of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown. She is a member of both the Litigation & Arbitration and Anti-Corruption & Compliance practices.

Sophia advises clients in litigation before the Superior Courts and administrative sanctioning proceedings, especially those related to Law No. 12,846/2013 (Anti-Corruption Law) and Law No. 8,429/1992 (Administrative Improbity Law). Sophia also provides legal advice to clients on strategic, regulatory and corporate integrity issues involving possible violations of national and foreign anti-corruption legislation.
