Overview
Katherine Monks Bleicher is a Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate in Mayer Brown's Washington DC office. Her practice focuses on antitrust and complex commercial litigation. Kate has in-depth experience in all major stages of the litigation process, including drafting dispositive motions and appellate briefs, taking and defending depositions, and working on trials. In addition to this, she has also prepared client presentations for the US Department of Justice and participated in internal investigations.
Kate served as a law clerk to Chief Judge James K. Bredar of the US District Court for the District of Maryland. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she served as an Article Editor and Senior Managing Editor for the Harvard Law and Policy Review. During law school, Kate interned at the Department of Justice in the Office of Legal Policy. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English from Brown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
