Overview
Kim Ayudant is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. She represents publicly held and privately owned companies on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactional matters, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, private equity investments and general corporate matters. She also routinely advises clients on ongoing corporate governance and operational matters, helping companies navigate both complex transactional and day-to-day legal challenges. Kim works with clients across a range of industries, including food and beverage, consumer products, manufacturing, media and technology, and aerospace.
Experience
Represented:
- The Boeing Company in its sale of portions of its Digital Aviation Solutions business, including its Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData, and OzRunways assets, to Thoma Bravo, valued at $10.55 billion.
- A leading middle-market private equity firm in its acquisition of a North American frozen food manufacturer and distributor, and subsequently represented its portfolio company in an add-on acquisition to expand the new platform.
- A manufacturer of industrial and municipal wastewater treatment solutions in its reorganization, recapitalization and subsequent sale of its controlling interest in the company to a private equity firm.
