Mayer Brown advises Royal London on £208 million BPA Transaction with the Hickson UK Group Pension Scheme

London – Mayer Brown has advised Royal London on the completion of a £208 million bulk purchase annuity transaction ("BPA") with the trustees of the Hickson UK Group Pension Scheme. The transaction, which secures the benefits of over 1,250 members, is Royal London’s third-largest external BPA transaction to date.

Royal London is the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions and investment provider. This transaction is the latest in a number of BPA deals on which Mayer Brown has supported the excellent Royal London team.
