Tauil & Chequer Advogados advised Itaú BBA on the BRL 100 million debenture issuance by Usina São José da Estiva

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Itaú BBA, as lead underwriter, in connection with the public offering of debentures issued by Usina São José da Estiva, in the total amount of BRL 100 million.

In accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 1-A of Law 12.431 and Decree 11.964, the funds obtained through the issuance of the Debentures shall be fully and exclusively utilized for payment and/or reimbursement of costs, expenses, or debts eligible for reimbursement, related to the Project, provided that such costs, expenses, or debts eligible for reimbursement occurred within a period of no more than 36 (thirty-six) months from the Closing Notice, as stipulated in Paragraph 1-C of Article 1 of Law 12.431, as detailed in the Issuance Deed.

The transaction was led by partner Luis Otero Montes, with the participation of associates Julia Zarth and Yasmin Rópa, all from the Banking and Finance practice.
