Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises on bridge loan for wind power project development
Tauil & Chequer Advogados (T&C), in association with Mayer Brown, advised Banco Crédit Agricole Brasil, on a bridge loan for the development of wind projects from three specific purpose companies: Ventos de São Ricardo 03 Energias Renováveis and Ventos de São Ricardo 04 Energias Renováveis.
The bridge loan was granted to Veleiros Holdings, during the company's first public debentures issuance, under the terms of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) Resolution 160, for approximately US$ 77 million (R$ 400 million ). The transaction was guaranteed by AES Brasil Energia and Unipar Indupa do Brasil.
The team was led by counsel Anna Gouvea and included partner Eduardo Lima and associate Camila Spinola, all from the Banking & Finance practice.
