Mayer Brown advises Rockport Energy Solutions on strategic operator formation and transaction
A Houston- and Austin-based Mayer Brown team represented Rockport Energy Solutions LLC (RES) in its formation and initial transaction with a private equity fund. RES is a strategic management team and operator for oil and gas properties.
RES will initially operate in the Permian Basin, and will pursue a strategy to partner with financial institutions and companies to economically and responsibly manage and develop oil and gas assets, including non-producing acreage, “drill-ready” acreage and producing assets throughout the United States. RES will handle all facets of an oil and gas company, including operations, mid and back office, and financial advisory services.
The Mayer Brown team included lawyers Sam Patranella, Larry Murphy, Carl von Merz, and Ali Denson.
