  • Successfully defending Employees’ Compensation Insurers in respect of a multi-million dollar paraplegic Employees’ Compensation Claim, resulting in a landmark decision for EC Claims involving “stroke” victims
  • Defending an Investment Bank in respect of a personal injury claim from an employee who allegedly sustained psychiatric injuries due to the intense nature and volume of work, which ultimately resolved in the claim being withdrawn
  • Successfully defending a public liability claim involving a professional claimant which resulted in Costs Orders against the Plaintiff’s solicitors personally, and in so doing the Judge took the unusual step of referring the matter to the Hong Kong Law Society and the Department of Justice
  • Successfully winning an appeal on costs for a supermarket and obtaining costs for the whole proceedings, where the Judge accepted that there is no basis for the claimant to proceed with her pleaded case in view of the CCTV footages
  • Acted for a bus company in numerous personal injury claims in the Tai Po incident which resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries
  • Acted for a property manager and incorporated owner in a fatal lift accident, involving contribution claim against the contractors
  • Successfully defending a public liability claim on behalf of a prestigious shopping mall in Hong Kong, resulting in the withdrawal of the action by the claimant shortly before trial with costs to client
