2022 AIF Institute Insurance Investing Symposium and AIF Insurance Investors' Forum

Mayer Brown partners Lawrence Hamilton and Paul Forrester participated on the panel “Insurance Regulatory Topics Impacting Investments,” at the inaugural 2022 Accredited Investment Fiduciary’s (AIF) Institute Insurance Investing Symposium and AIF Insurance Investors' Forum in New York City on June 7-8, 2022. They were joined by industry leaders for a discussion on how investors are working with regulators and rating agencies to seek greater yield while preserving the financial stability of the insurance industry. This session included a presentation on the Long Horizon Equity Risk-Based Capital Project, a review of the NAIC’s treatment of structured securities and the rating agencies’ role in the process.
