Marjorie Vieira, LL.M.

Marjorie Vieira is a Foreign Qualified Lawyer in the Litigation and Arbitration practice in Mayer Brown’s Frankfurt office. She advises clients on complex international litigation and arbitration matters.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Marjorie worked on a variety of commercial disputes at a boutique law firm in Brazil, where she represented clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings and acted as secretary of the arbitral tribunal.

Arbitration

• Supported the representation of a Colombian manufacturer and seller of refractory materials in an ICC arbitration regarding agency*
• Supported the representation of a Brazilian law firm in a CAMINAS arbitration regarding lawyer’s fees.*
• Acted as secretary of the tribunal in a CAMARB arbitration regarding environmental restoration*
• Acted as secretary of the tribunal in a CAMARB arbitration regarding franchise.*

• Supported the representation of a Dutch-Turkish joint venture company against a public airport authority in a dispute before the Dutch courts.

• Supported the representation of shareholders in a dispute concerning the partial dissolution of an insurance brokerage company*
• Supported the representation of shareholders and real estate company in a dispute concerning the partial dissolution of the real estate company*
• Supported the representation of a Chilean mining company in enforcement and annulment proceedings of an arbitral award.*
• Supported the representation of French multinational corporation in a dispute concerning environmental damage.*
• Supported the representation of an engineering and consulting firm in a dispute concerning provision of engineering services related to the construction of a facility in a petrochemical complex.*
