Suchitra Paul is an associate in Mayer Brown's Real Estate practice in Chicago. She represents owners, developers, equity investors, private equity funds and other domestic and foreign financial institutions in a broad range of complex commercial real estate transactions across asset classes, including industrial, multifamily, active adult housing, medical, office, commercial, hotel and retail. Thompson Center to JRTC Holdings, LLC, who will be redeveloping the property for Google, and the State’s simultaneous acquisition of the office building located at 115 S. LaSalle in Chicago, Illinois. The transaction, which closed in 2022, furthers the State’s broader real estate alignment, allowing the State to consolidate additional downtown leases, which will save Illinois taxpayers nearly a billion dollars over the next thirty years.
