Tristan Propst represents both major financial institutions, as administrative agents, arrangers and lenders, and corporate borrowers in a variety of finance transactions, including secured and unsecured commercial transactions, first lien/second lien transactions, acquisition financings, asset-based lending, project finance transactions, structured transactions, restructuring transactions, and cross-border transactions, with a particular emphasis on finance transactions in the oil and gas, coal, pipeline and other energy-related industries.
Tristan has been ranked by Chambers as a top banking and finance attorney in Texas (2009 – 2012) and prior to that was consistently named as a “Texas Rising Star” (Super Lawyer, 2004-2007). Chambers USA 2012 notes that Tristan “is very creative in his ability to formulate solutions for challenging situations.” Prior to joining Mayer Brown, he served as a judicial clerk for the Court of Appeals of Georgia (1995).
