概览

Ryan R. Migeed advises clients on international trade matters with a focus on trade remedies such as antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) cases before the US Department of Commerce (DOC) and the US International Trade Commission (ITC), as well as customs matters before US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Ryan also helps clients navigate questions regarding investments and production incentives in the United States, tariffs including those imposed under Section 232, Section 301, and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), and advises on forced labor allegations, trade policy, and other matters affecting the production and importation of goods. He is admitted before the US Court of International Trade (CIT).

Before joining Mayer Brown, Ryan was an associate in another prominent international trade practice in Washington, and interned at the US Departments of State (Office of the Legal Adviser) and Justice (Office of Foreign Litigation). Before fully entering private practice, Ryan was selected by U.S. Embassy Luxembourg to work as a stagiaire in the chambers of a judge of the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union, where his work focused on reviewing antidumping and restrictive measures cases. Ryan is published widely in the areas of international trade and international law.
