Alyssa Brathwaite

As knowledge counsel for the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in London, Alyssa Brathwaite is responsible for the practice’s knowledge needs. She draws on extensive litigation experience to help lawyers stay abreast of legal and industry developments and provide current, tailored and commercial advice to clients. Alyssa develops and delivers internal and client training, promotes innovation within the practice and drafts briefings on topical legal developments.

Prior to becoming knowledge counsel, Alyssa was a senior disputes lawyer at a City law firm and in-house legal counsel at a leading professional services firm, where she advised on a range of commercial litigation, regulatory and contentious matters. She has advised multinational organisations, banks and individuals on matters including fraud claims, contractual disputes, competition claims and regulatory issues. Her experience spans the lifecycle of disputes, from pre-action through to trial, and includes multiple mediations.
