概览
Micheal Antifaoff represents technology clients in patent disputes before U.S. district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Micheal has experience working on matters involving machine learning, cloud computing, inertial signal processing, and a variety of other hardware and software technologies.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Micheal earned a degree in Computer Engineering and worked at a wearable technology startup, where he developed a device’s firmware, signal processing, and machine learning capabilities. Micheal then attended law school in Toronto, Canada, where he won Canada’s national intellectual property moot. He then served as a law clerk to Judge Kevin Feehan at the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
Micheal’s deep understanding of hardware and software allows him to make complex technologies simple for both judges and juries. When coupled with the judgment and writing skills he developed as a law clerk, he is able to persuasively advocate to help clients achieve their goals.
