Mayer Brown expands virtual training offerings with Mergers & Acquisitions program launch

Mayer Brown has expanded its virtual work experience series on Forage with the launch of its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) program. This free, interactive and self-paced program provides participants, particularly law students and other aspiring legal professionals from all backgrounds, the opportunity to gain practical insights into working as an M&A lawyer.

Participants in the firm’s virtual M&A program can expand their experience and skills by “stepping into the shoes” of a Mayer Brown lawyer – completing tasks and considering issues that simulate the type of work done by the firm’s M&A team.

“Our virtual M&A program is a terrific way for up-and-coming lawyers to gain experience and exposure to the M&A practice by learning to navigate legal issues in transactions,” said Paul de Bernier, a global co-leader of Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities practice. “The program aids us in identifying and nurturing a pipeline of students keen on M&A practice, laying the foundation for a promising recruiting season ahead."

With the launch of the virtual M&A program, Mayer Brown now offers three virtual programs, including Financing Renewable Energy Projects and Introduction to Litigation.
