Six Mayer Brown lawyers named to Washingtonian's "Lawyer Lifetime Achievement" list

Mayer Brown announced today that six lawyers have been named to Washingtonian’s “Lawyer Lifetime Achievement” list. According to the publication, this “elite group” of the “best of the best” recognizes individuals who have been named to its list of “Top Lawyers” in the Washington DC area at least 10 times within the past 15 years.

The Mayer Brown lawyers recognized are:
  • Frank Henneburg - “Lifetime Achievement: Real Estate”
    Mr. Henneburg represents domestic and foreign institutional investors and lenders on a wide array of real estate matters. His experience includes the acquisition of all property types and the representation of both borrowers and lenders in single-property and portfolio loans. He has significant experience in buying and financing hotels, including the negotiation of hotel management agreements.
  • Kenneth Klein - “Lifetime Achievement: Tax”
    Mr. Klein concentrates his practice on international taxation, tax planning, tax transactions, tax controversies and public policy. He has represented clients in a wide-range of industries including manufacturing, transportation, financial institutions, software, pharmaceuticals, services, real estate, agriculture, trading and entertainment, among others.
  • Marcia Madsen - “Lifetime Achievement: Government Contracts”
    Ms. Madsen leads the Government Contracts practice and co-leads the National Security practice. She represents companies involved with government business and programs in policy, regulatory, litigation, transactional and investigative matters involving virtually every federal department and agency. She is a past chair of the ABA Section of Public Contract Law and was appointed by the Executive Office of the President to chair the Acquisition Advisory Panel – whose recommendations were virtually all adopted. Among other recognitions, she received the Court of Federal Claims Golden Eagle Award for service to the bar. Her clients include defense contractors, information technology and systems integrators, telecommunications companies, engineering firms, insurers and manufacturing companies.
  • Andrew Pincus - “Lifetime Achievement: Supreme Court”
    Mr. Pincus is a co-leader of the Supreme Court & Appellate practice. He focuses his appellate practice on briefing and arguing cases in the Supreme Court of the United States and in federal and state appellate courts: developing legal strategy for trial courts; and presenting policy and legal arguments to Congress, state legislatures and regulatory agencies. Since 2009, Mr. Pincus has been named a “Top Lawyer: Supreme Court” by Washingtonian. He has argued 30 cases in the Supreme Court and filed briefs in several hundred cases.
  • Elizabeth Espín Stern “Lifetime Achievement: Immigration”
    Ms. Stern is managing partner of the firm’s Washington DC office, and also leads the Global Mobility & Migration practice. She has advised companies through every major immigration policy change since 1986. Ms. Stern spearheads the firm’s market-leading global worksite management initiative, the Global People Solution™, which offers multinational clients a comprehensive compliance and management program in connection with their mobile workforce.
  • Keith Willner - “Lifetime Achievement: Real Estate”
    As a senior partner in the firm’s Real Estate Markets practice, Mr. Willner counsels major REITS, institutional developers, banks, private equity and opportunity funds, insurance companies, pension funds and pension fund advisors, asset managers and other capital providers in connection with the acquisition, venturing, financing, leasing and disposition of real estate.
