Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Furnas land auction procedures valued at R$ 109 million

São Paulo, June 1st, 2022 – Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown is advising the consortium that assists BNDES and Furnas Centrais Elétricas in Rio de Janeiro in the auction procedures of two lots, totaling 10 thousand square meters and valued at R$ 109 million. Located in Botafogo, in the South of Rio de Janeiro, the land will be subject to real estate development for the construction of high-end residential projects, the largest of which, at around 9,000 meters, will have a minimum bid of R$ 91.9 million, with the second requiring a minimum bid of R$ 16.9 million. BNDES is responsible for structuring the operation, from the development of the public notice to the auction, which will take place on July 13, at B3, in São Paulo.
