Mayer Brown has advised coparion, the venture capital investment firm, on the sale of Twenty Billion Neurons GmbH to Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM).
Founded in 2015, Twenty Billion Neurons GmbH is a start-up with locations in Berlin (Germany) and Toronto (Canada) that provides real-time interactive computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
coparion is a venture capital fund that invests in young German technology companies. With a fund volume of 275 million Euro, coparion contributes significantly to the fast and sustainable growth of start-ups. Twenty Billion Neurons GmbH is coparion's first investment exit.
