Matthew Marmolejo named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Minority Leaders of Influence: Attorneys” list

Mayer Brown announced that Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner Matthew Marmolejo (Los Angeles) has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) 2021 list of “Minority Leaders of Influence: Attorneys.” The list recognizes influential minority lawyers who have made significant contributions to the Los Angeles business and legal community.

Mr. Marmolejo’s practice centers on representing automobile and motor vehicle equipment manufacturers in a variety of litigation and regulatory matters. In Mr. Marmolejo’s profile, LABJ highlighted his recent work representing Nissan Motor Co. in a lawsuit in connection with the sale of two Southern California dealerships.

Additionally, Mr. Marmolejo helps his clients navigate regulatory matters and compliance processes and procedures. He has extensive experience, for example, representing manufacturers in motor vehicle safety matters, including National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proceedings involving compliance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act and the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability and Documentation Act. This area of law allows him to operate at the intersection of technology and automobile safety, working with transportation and mobility issues that impact people’s everyday lives.
