On January 23, 2024, Howard Waltzman testified before the Arizona House Commerce Committee on behalf of law firm client Live Nation. He spoke in favor of House Bill 2040, aimed at protecting event ticket buyers from price-gouging and fraudulent ticket sales.
The bipartisan bill would allow Arizona's Attorney General to investigate individuals suspected of using bots to purchase an excessive number of tickets or disable the electronic queue for a ticketing website, all in an effort to protect consumers from predatory practices.
