Ron Distante is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Capital Markets group. Ron represents issuers, underwriters and asset managers in equity and debt capital markets transactions, including equity offerings, high-yield and investment grade offerings, 144A/Reg S and 4(a)(2) private placements, tender and exchange offerings, reverse mergers and funding agreement-backed notes.
Ron is a contributor to Regulation of Swaps and Security-Based Swaps in the United States (2026 ed.), formerly published as OTC Derivatives Regulation Under Dodd-Frank: A Guide to Registration, Reporting, Business Conduct, and Clearing, published by Thomson Reuters.
Ron received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A. from Iona College.
