Preston R. Michelson

Preston Michelson is an associate in Mayer Brown's Chicago office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He concentrates his practice on high-stakes brief writing at the trial and appellate levels in a wide range of subject matters, including antitrust, commercial disputes, and privacy litigation.

Preston served as a law clerk for two years before joining the firm. He first clerked for the Honorable James Patrick Hanlon of the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, and then for the Honorable Doris L. Pryor of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Preston graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Law Journal.
