Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Telefônica Brasil on the formation of a joint venture focused on renewable energy

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Telefônica Brasil on the formation of a joint venture with Auren Energia, which aims to provide customized renewable energy solutions in Brazil, combining Auren's expertise in energy generation and commercialization with Telefônica's large-scale distribution capacity.
With all the precedent aspects approved, the joint venture should position itself in the free energy market, whose inaugural activities are scheduled for September 2024, and will initially be focused on services for the corporate sector with a demand of less than 500kW.
The team was led by Lucas Zamproni and Débora Yanasse, and included partner Bruno Salzano, as well as associates Bruno Ribeiro and Caio Souza.
