Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Gafisa in acquisition of Bait Inc.

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown represented Gafisa in the acquisition of luxury real estate company Bait Inc. The deal, valued at R$180 million (US $34.5 million), marks the return of Gafisa as the largest real estate developer in Rio de Janeiro's luxury residential market. The team advising Gafisa was led by partners Ludmila Braga and Rodolfo Tella, and included associates Tatiana Avelar, Isabela Ribeiro and Sophia de Maio, from the Real Estate Transactions and Investments and Corporate and M&A practices.
