Justen Fleming

Justen Fleming focuses on energy projects and project financings. He has deep experience across the LNG value chain: he has advised on a range of liquefaction structures (conventional, equity lifting, tolling), LNG shipping arrangements, LNG SPAs, LNG regas terminals and LNG-to-power projects. Justen's broader sector experience includes clean hydrogen, petrochemical and natural gas projects as well as HVDC and other energy related infrastructure.  Justen is based in our London and Tokyo offices and regularly advises clients across Europe, the Americas and Australasia.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Justen advised: 

• sponsors with respect to the development of an integrated LNG liquefaction project in Papua New Guinea*
• the project company on the negotiation of gas supply arrangements, LNG SPAs and shipping arrangements for an integrated LNG liquefaction project in Indonesia*
• an offtaker with respect to tolling arrangements for an LNG liquefaction project on the Gulf Coast, USA*
• a participant in a mid-stream equity lifting LNG project in Canada*
• lenders with respect to the project financing of a floating LNG project in Malaysia*
