Experiencia
- VLF Automotive, LLC v. Karma Automotive, LLC, et al. (Orange County Superior Court): Served as second chair during a trial victory for Karma Automotive and its former CEO, Dr. Liang Zhou, in a lawsuit concerning product development in the automotive industry. The Plaintiff alleged that Karma and Dr. Zhou gained confidential information about a vehicle’s development and used that information to their benefit and the exclusion of Plaintiff. In October 2022, the Orange County Superior Court granted Karma and Dr. Zhou’s motion for summary adjudication of Plaintiff’s misappropriation of trade secrets and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage claims. In March 2024, Joseph helped Karma and Dr. Zhou defeat Plaintiff’s breach of contract and fraudulent concealment claims after a bench trial. Joseph then helped negotiate a favorable stipulated judgment with Plaintiff on the remaining Unfair Competition Law claim that sought injunctive relief.
- Ravizza, et al. v. St. Jude Medical, LLC, et al.
