Julian Späker

Julian Späker operates at the nexus of credit and the capital markets, advising German and international banks, funds and insurers on all aspects of banking and capital markets law. He has particular expertise in structured finance, with a focus on securitisations and credit derivatives.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Julian practised as a fully qualified lawyer in the structured finance team of a leading international law firm in Frankfurt am Main.

He previously gained experience in banking and capital markets across several major international firms and read law at the University of Bonn.
