Gabriel regularly advises global financial institutions and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financings, including general corporate lending, structured trade and commodities finance and acquisition finance. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, he practised at the banking and finance team of another leading international law firm.

Gabriel has served on secondment with a leading international bank's global trade finance team, working directly with the business teams to advise on trade finance products and workstreams.

The lenders on a US$1 billion loan facility to an Indonesian state-owned mining holding company for the repayment of its existing debt and other working capital requirements.
A syndicate of more than 20 international banks on US$500 million term and revolving credit facilities to an Indonesian mining company for its general corporate purposes.
An Indonesian ride-hailing and e-commerce technology company on an IDR 4,650 billion term loan from multiple banks.
A consortium of banks, as the lenders' international counsel, on a EUR 100 million revolving credit facility to the German and Singaporean subsidiaries of a joint venture between a luxury German automotive brand and a leading Chinese automotive manufacturer. The loan was structured as a green loan and was for the purposes of financing the purchase of electric vehicles.
A Chinese bank on term loans to multiple Irish and Singapore ship leasing companies. The loans were backed by put and call options involving a Chinese sponsor.
