Jillian Joseph is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office, where she focuses on Litigation & Dispute Resolution. Jillian has experience litigating cases in federal and state trial courts, as well as conducting internal investigations and representing parties before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice (DOJ). 

Jillian’s civil litigation practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation, antitrust, and class action defense, including class action suits alleging false and misleading advertising and violations of consumer protection and unfair competition laws.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Jillian was an antitrust litigation associate at another prominent international law firm in Washington, DC. Jillian received her JD, Order of the Coif, from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, her MSEd from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and her BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California.  In law school, Jillian externed for Judge Akua Kuenyehia at the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands and Justice John L. Segal at the California Court of Appeal.  She clerked for The Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
